Material: Housing steel and Magnetic core sintered neodymium ring magnet.
Version: Housing, galvanized. Magnet, Ni coated or Zn coated
Note: Shallow flat pot magnets with cylindrical hole. These magnets are pressed or glued into the receiving holes.
Hairline cracks in the magnetic material are unavoidable for technical reasons in the D=48 version. They do not impair the attracting function of the magnets in any way.
Temperature range: max. 80°C.
Neodymium Iron Boron Pot Magnet Assemblies
HSMAG Neodymium Iron Boron Pot Magnets compliment our Alnico Pot Magnets by delivering large holding powers in small packages. These magnets are designed to be “Low Profile,” but still incorporate a tapped hole in the back wall for mounting.
The Neo Pot Magnets not only have a potent attraction while in direct contact with a work piece, but they also have excellent field projection capabilities.
NEODYMIUM with higher operating Temperatures and Intrinsic Coercive Forces are available in these Pot Magnets. Samarium Cobalt and Stainless shells and shields are also manufactured. The all Stainless Pot Magnets, for both Alnico and Neodymium, are a Level I or II food grade unit.
All HSMAG Pot Magnets are Centerless Ground after pressing to ±0.003″. The standard tolerance on the length is ±0.015″. Tighter tolerances are available upon request.
Mounting Magnets – Cup & Pot Magnets
High quality pot/cup magnet assemblies made with super strong rare earth neodymium magnets and ceramic magnets for Home or Industrial uses.
Special feature: these magnets can be fixed or mounted using screws. For this reason we suggest to place and glue them in a drilled pilot hole and can be used at a temperature up to 80°C / 100°C.
